Tamagotchi P1 (Japanese)

This is the very first virtual pet to ever come out :D It is a Generation 1 Tamagotchi. After that... well you know what happened :D Tamagotchis became one of the biggest fads in many different countries and Bandai has inspired other Toy companies to make their own versions of virtual pets. I can't believe I didn't get this one until just recently. So far the buttons are really easy to push, response time is good and the characters are cute. I'm very proud to own this one! I give it a 9 out of 10 since it is the original, but lacking some of the interesting features that other virtual pets at the time had.

I just got mine for about $15 on eBay. Japanese ones are $30-50ish, and American ones have gone up to around $30-200ish or more depending on the design. The Hong Kong Special edition was about $50, and I got the European version for very cheap at only $20 even though they usually go for way more. If you are familiar with how Tamagotchis work, I would recommend getting a Japanese one because not only are they cheaper, they usually have cuter designs in my opinion :)
