DNA Fish

DNA Fish is a fish virtual pet that is partly based on Gyaoppi and Cute Pet programming. It has a dodge game where the fish attempts to dodge falling stones. If it is hit three times, then it loses the game. The game is slightly different in that the fish accrues points based on how well it does, but I am not certain what the points are used for or what they do. The fish has some unique features. It eats two types of food, but there is no food meter to tell you if it's full, as far as I can tell. There is a strength meter for when you make the fish work out (separate from playing the game) and the meter is filled with stars. There is an education meter that is filled with stars when you make the fish read a book (kinda silly under water lol). The fish produces waste in its water so you must perform regular partial water changes (kind of like the Aquapalz or the Thinkway Little Mermaid 4-in-1). As far as I know this pet doesn't transform into anything different, it just grows a little bit.

I have not managed to raise it all the way because it seems to die easily and for no apparent reason. I've tried raising it three times with no success. If you can find it for cheap, then get it, but I don't think it is worth buying if it is expensive since it is really hard to raise.

The DNA Fish comes in various different shells, some shaped like a square TV type shell, some shaped like a blow Fish. Some of the shells come in green translucent design and others comes in pink opaque design, but both have bubbles on the shell. I believe there are other colors such as white and yellow, too. The fish shaped shell has a face. The square shaped shell has a kick stand on the back to hold it up so it is easy to view on your desk. The square version also takes 3 button cell batteries instead of the usual 2, but I'm not sure if the other shell versions are the same way.

Price:
I bought mine for about $11 on eBay, but they seem to be going for much more expensive now, usually in the $50-70, which is kind of ridiculous in my opinion. Don't buy this pet for anything over $15. You will probably regret it if you spend any more than that.

The Pocket Puppy is a multi-pet which consists of 4 different dogs you can choose from, two male and two female with different personalities. Each dog has it's own unique characteristics (submissive, dominant, playful, etc.). Unlike other virtual pets this Pocket Puppy does not seem to grow at all. It just stays the same and does not seem to change as you care for it. I chose a female dog and raised her for about 2 weeks and did not see her grow even one time during that entire time. This pet has some pretty basic features with some added stuff such as grooming your dog, training you dog and playing with your dog. It also has audio that sounds like a real dog. It got kind of annoying hearing the constant barking. The animations for every action were extremely cute, so if you just want to play with a cute puppy that doesn't change then I would recommend this pet. It also has a very unique shell that is shaped like a dog and it's bigger than most virtual pets I've seen, with a really nice big screen. The programming seems to be completely unique to this pet, since I've never seen any other pet with similar programming. I have never seen this pet in any other shell type except this one. The battery compartment has a slide out door that you have to unscrew underneath the dog and it takes only one battery, same as the Tamagotchi Connections.

Price:
I got mine for about $15, but shortly afterward the price went down to about $8-10. There are quite a few on eBay every time I've ever seen them, so I wouldn't classify them as being "rare".

UPDATE: I sold this one on eBay because I didn't enjoy it very much, so it is no longer in my collection. However, you can still read my review below to get information on what it's like. Unfortunately, if you have any questions that haven't been answered here, I will probably not be able to answer them since I no longer own this pet. Feel free to comment anyway because you never know ;) Thanks for reading!

24-in-1 Smart Baby and Pets is a multi-pet based on Gyaoppi programming. It contains 24 different characters to choose from, several of which are repetitive. For instance, there is a baby girl and a baby boy to choose from, as well as different bugs to choose from. It has some characters in common with the Super Gyaoppi 9-in-1, as well as several new additions to the line-up, such as a squirrel and a racoon. The few times I have tried raising it the characters have died, mostly because I couldn't figure out how to play the games to raise the happiness, since giving snacks won't raise the happiness meter. I finally figured out the two games, one of which was kicking a ball into a goal, and the other one was catching falling stones in a hat, but both are extremely difficult to play and take a lot of practice. I have still never managed to win the soccer game, but I did win the catch game a couple of times. Eventually the games get so frustrating that you just give up and don't want to play with this virtual pet anymore. It's not a pet I would recommend buying, but I like it because it has some unique characters lol I will post pictures of each character. I've never seen this virtual pet any other time on eBay, which leads me to believe it is extremely rare. The shell is pretty ugly in my opinion. The buttons are also really confusing and don't really make much sense.

Here are some pictures of the one I have, as well as pictures of the characters:

Price:
I got mine for about $40 through the Facebook groups, but I wouldn't recommend anyone else bother buying it for that much since it isn't that great of a pet to care for. I would recommend getting a Super Gyaoppi 9in1 instead of this Smart Baby and Pets.

What is it? I have no idea to be honest. It's some kind of cute handheld device with some characters involved, but I don't think it's a pet of any kind. I think it might have something to do with messaging, but I really don't have any idea how it works. I bought it on a whim a few years ago, but upon receiving it everything was in another language that I cannot decipher :( If anyone knows anything about it, please let me know! Perhaps you need more than one in order to fully utilize it's features. It looks a little like an MP3 player, sort of like the Aquapalz. The upside is that it came with a sheet of really cute stickers and the characters are super duper cute :3

I believe I bought it for about $20 on eBay quite a few years ago.
tamagotchi: Japanese Gen 1 (Baby sleeping)
The Mini Tamagotchi is exactly what it sounds like, a miniature Tamagotchi! It is the English version of the Japanese Chibi Tamagotchi, but they are basically exactly the same, but with a different keychain. It's so small, it was designed to be more of a decoration, like a phone charm. The cutest part is that it functions as a Tamagotchi, too, but with slightly easier dumbed down programming. It goes through two stages of growth, baby and adult and there are usually about 4 or 5 adults you can get. It doesn't have much in the way of games or food, and it doesn't even have icons. The screen is so tiny that you don't go through the menus the same way you do on a regular Tamagotchi. For instance, when it poops or needs a shot you just press the first button and it automatically does what the Tamagotchi needs instead of scrolling through a menu of icons to choose what you need to do yourself. It's very simplistic that way. This is the North American version and in my opinion it doesn't come in as cute of shell designs as the Asian shells, especially since the paint is a little bit cheaper looking. The English versions also seem to be a little bit more rare. I usually see the Asian version more on eBay. North America only got one version, whereas Asia got the Chibi (1st version) and the Nano (second version). North America only got the Mini (Chibi) version. The English version also has a screw in back, whereas the Japanese version has a button you push to pop out the back battery cover.

I think I got mine for about $20 or something. I can't remember to be honest. I think they are kind of rarer now so they go for way more.
tamagotchi: the sticker on my keitai when I first got it. (Mametchi)
The Hanerutchi Keitai is a special edition of the Keitai, but it has all unique characters and games based on the Japanese sitcom You Knock on Jumping Door. I'm not sure what the show is about so I probably don't have much of an understanding of what is being referenced in this Tamagotchi, but it is actually very cute and I quite enjoy the games. It comes in three different shells: green+white, red+white and blue+pearlescent white. The blue-white pearlescent version is more rare. One of the cute things about it is that when you press the C button it shows a close up of the character's face and it is a more detailed rendition of the character, usually with some kind of Japanese text speech bubble. I highly recommend this Tamagotchi :)

Price:
I got mine for about $23 but they often go for around $25-35, sometimes more or less. It really depends on if you can find a deal and it fluctuates a lot. Since the blue is more rare it can go for a lot more.

Growth Chart:
I will post a growth chart when I find one.

This is the second edition of the Hanerutchi Keitai Tamagotchi, but instead of Keitai programming it has Entama programming and the characters are updated with more evolutions. The games and foods are unique once again as well. I'm really, really fond of the games on this version. Other than that it has the same basic options as the Entama. The shell is more like the Entama with the diagonal antenna and this version has a dragon on the shell. I got the Red version. Normally I don't like red shells, but I thought it was better looking than the Navy Blue for some reason. As far as I know those are the only two colors. I give this virtual pet a 9.5 out of 10 for being super cute and interesting. My only complaint is... once again... I hate antennas on Tamagotchis T_T

Here are some photos of the I own:

Price:
I would say these go for around $30ish now. I got mine for $14 brand new in package pretty recently, but they usually go for twice that much.

Growth Chart:
Still in search of growth chart.
tamagotchi: (Pooping Odenkun)
The Oden-kun Keitai is based on a cartoon called Oden-kun. It is a short cartoon that involves anthropomorphic foods in a soup. Each ingredient is a different character. I've watched an episode of the show and it is a little weird lol but maybe because it wasn't translated into English XD The characters are very cute and the games are cute as well. One involves pouring gravy on some food lol Another is Oden-kun jump roping. The funniest part about it is that the foods on this Tamagotchi are the same foods the characters are based on, so it's kind of like cannibalism lol What I really love about this Tamagotchi is the fact that there's no antenna! There are two shells, pink and yellow. It is a pretty cute shell design :D I'm not sure if this Keitai connects to any other Keitais aside from the Oden-kuns.

Price:
I got mine for about $18 at the time, but now they are pretty rare and go for much more... sometimes $70-80, maybe more. Pretty crazy O_O
